Data protection (GDPR)

Privacy Policy

At the De Personas a Personas Youth Association we take your privacy very seriously. We explain transparently how we process your personal data.

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect and how

This website only collects the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form or when you email us:

  • Identification and contact data: your name, email address and any detail you choose to include in the subject or message.
  • No trackers or intrusive cookies: this website uses no tracking cookies, invasive analytics tools or third-party advertising.

3. Purpose of processing

The data you send us is used solely and exclusively to:

  • Answer your doubts, questions or requests for support and information.
  • Deal with proposals for collaboration, volunteering or taking part in the association's activities.

We will not use your data for unsolicited advertising or build commercial profiles.

4. Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for processing your data is the explicit consent you give by ticking the checkbox in the contact form and pressing the send button (pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

5. Data retention period

We will keep your personal data only for as long as strictly necessary to handle and answer your enquiry or request. Once it is resolved, the data will be deleted or kept blocked only for as long as applicable legal liabilities may arise.

6. Communication to third parties

Your data will not be disclosed, sold or transferred to third persons or entities, except where expressly required by law or by a competent authority. We also do not transfer data internationally outside the European Economic Area.

7. Your rights and how to exercise them

You have full control over your personal data. You may exercise the following rights recognised by the GDPR at any time:

  • Access: find out what data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Rectification: correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”): ask us to delete your data when it is no longer necessary.
  • Objection: object to our continuing to process your data in certain circumstances.
  • Restriction of processing: ask us to temporarily suspend processing in the cases provided for by law.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.

To exercise any of these rights, simply send an email to depersonaapersona13@gmail.com with “Data Protection” as the subject, stating which right you wish to exercise.

If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
